Why do so many asians keep a toilet paper roll on their pc desk?

Also i think it looks weird. Like when someone comes over and sees toilet paper roll on ur desk, what will they think...

I am not Asian, and I tend to have a toilet paper roll on my desk when I am sick because I usually don't buy tissues until I am sick.

Toilet Paper rolls are simply smaller, cheaper, and more conveniant than a box of tissues. I'm 100% white and I keep a roll at both of my desks.
