The thing is, ROBLOX is rather simple and since it uses Lua the coding is somewhat basic, if you can't get something like creating a game on ROBLOX down, you're gonna have no luck using something like Unity to make a game.

lel i been using gamemaker studio and trying to learn that code so other codes seem harder
Unreal IV comes with a built-in FPS base availible either in C++ or the simpler but proprietary Blueprint format. You could reverse engineer the weapons system and build yourself your custom classes. My hot tip would be to make a generic character with a generic weapon and stand-in variables for health, armor, weapon rate of fire, damage, mag size, accuracy, etc., and then make child objects so you just need to assign some variables and be on your way. Tougher initially but will save you time in the long run.

As for modeling/shading/etc., Blender is open source but good luck learning Shader scripting.

And for UI, GIMP is entirely free so you could technically use it to export transparent .pngs for UI elements.
