The advantage of Console
There is 1 aspect of a console usually overlooked by people.

"Availability".
(Forgive me if I use this word wrong since English isn't my mother tongue. But from my search on the dictionary, this is the closest word I could get).

I will start to explain now.
The availability of the console is that its main purpose is to play video games.
You get your games, you put it in your console, you begins to play.

With PC,
You often have to check "System Requirements".
Even when your System Requirements are met, there is still chance that the game won't run because:
-Bad port.
-Missing Files.
-3rd party software interference (Mostly Anti-Virus).
-Drivers.
-And any "God only knows" reasons nobody could explain why your friend's potato could run that game so good but your beefy PC struggle.
-... The list goes on ...

With console, it's simple, if the game is made for your console, it'll run on your console.
*Note: Not a platform war. Not saying which one is master race.

You dont have to check system requirements, because everything will be equal to running them on low settings. Its like low end pc thats guaranteed to run games. It wont be pretty but they do work.

Yes, that's true. I don't really know why some people insist that consoles have no advantages or benefits, because they factually do. That's why they're still around and still sell. A PC is pretty much always gonna be more powerful and "better" than a console, but even then, the reasons for that can also be a flaw.

- Easier search
-1=1 graphics
- Exclusive or restricted game gave a reason to get the console
- All included not segmented in dlc pc

The only advantage that console still have now in 2020 is that there are too many malicious computer shop owners (most of them in my experience) who sell horrible crap that would be already bad enough but it is also filled with bloatware usually to people that are not knowledgeable enoygh to understand this problem and to build a good computers on their own, so people think that gaming on PC is either crap or horribly expensive while in fact they have just been scammed by poor manufacturers and dishonest shopkeeper.
Consoles never get THAT bad. They at least give you a minimum warranty that you will be able to enjoy most of their games (I say most because I have tried Castle of Illusion on PS3 and Skyrim on PS4 and they are NOT enjoyable nor playable) no matter what.
I myself am able to enjoy quality computrer gaming only because a friend of mine told me of a shop that build and sell computers of a much better quality for a fair price. In most cases it is not even a matter of price, you just DON'T find computers good enough for gaming in stores.
It's really a shame.

Actually the only real advantage consoles have over the PC at this stage is price. Consoles are getting some serious hardware upgrades, which is a quantum leap over the previous generation of ps4 and X1. a doubt that many people can spring for a really good PC with all the trimmings for anything less than £1000 at minimum, where as the next gen consoles if they go for £500 is practically a bargain with something that can run competitively besides the pc for a good few years.

In stating the above however, in a few years the technology as always is going to fall behind on the console to the point it will look like something out of far cry primal. The longer it takes to release the more obsolete it becomes.

- Feel superior when I start the game on the PC after a few hours of a console version and immerse myself in 120 FPS and higher textures in worlds that a console only gives you a hint.

i think issues with computers tend to get blown out of proportion, like other things on the internet. there's so many people with computers, and when people post about their computer problems on the internet people get this idea that computers are just prone to error.

-Bad port. how many bad ports are there? are they a big problem or just something to stack on your list?
-Missing Files. i dont remember having this issue. steam can verify your files, and if you want to be extra safe, you can go into device manager, disk drives, right click your hard drive, properties, policy, and disable write caching.
-3rd party software interference (Mostly Anti-Virus). never had this problem, i know how to tell antivirus to leave my games alone, and i've never seen antivirus target any of my steam games
-Drivers. oh no SPOOKY DRIVERS! people bring up drivers so much. if you have windows 10 and an internet connection it will search for a display driver, and after that you're good to go.
-And any "God only knows" reasons nobody could explain why your friend's potato could run that game so good but your beefy PC struggle. i dont have that many games, so my experience is limited, but i might have seen this in 7 days to die, or maybe not. there's plenty of complaints on the forums of "why cant my rtx 2070 run the graphics at max settings?! gta 5 (an optimized game) runs at ultra!" i dont know much about why, but 7 days to die is a voxel game, its like minecraft. but at a far higher resolution. somehow the game is just a lot more hard on graphics than others. it could be some weird issue with higher end hardware, since my aging computer can run the game fine. or it can be psychological. maybe the reason the game works better on the potato computer is because the user runs it at low settings and lower resolution, but the high end user just puts their foot down and says "no, my computer has to be able to run these settings perfect"

"With console, it's simple, if the game is made for your console, it'll run on your console."
this was more true of older consoles. they've become more like computers, so you gotta download games to the hard drive, the console has to update, and consoles can still have errors, i've seen it in person when my brother was playing a game.

then that would make Console useless, if they don't last more then 3 years

I recently abandoned the console peasantrace (#GetWokeGoBroke #Soyny) and rejoined the PC masterrace and so far I haven't encountered any system requirements problems. It shouldn't matter as long as you have decent hardware. I'm running GTX 1070 on my 2 year old Alienware 17 R4 gaming laptop and I've been able to play most of my games at High settings and 144 Hz.

Missing files, bad ports, drivers, antivirus issues... all those can easily be solved by getting the necessary fixes from the internet (granted it does take a little effort). Plus with PC you have so much more options - trainers, lewd mods, emulators, uncensored patches, skull & crossbones (to punish companies that go woke) if you know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Games are also way cheaper on PC. One game on PS4 costs on average at least 40 USD even with the best sales. For 40 USD, I could buy 7-8 games on Steam during one of the Summer/Winter sales.

And thanks to emulators, you'll eventually be able to play any "console exclusive" given enough time. Tokyo Mirage Sessions was a Wii U exclusive but I recently finished it on PC thanks to CEMU and with the uncensored patch too. :winter2019coolyul:

Depends on the level of a person’s try hardiness.

Crysis was no port.

In fact it was the last true PC game for a long time.

I wouldn't really say it's an advantage anymore than having your job next door to your house is. Wait a minute!
