Why does it matter? do you call "teen boys" for Boy gamers?
It's very normal, Your gender + Your things. This doesn't mean any disrespect.
For example:
I read book, friends call me "Book Boy".
I play soccer, teachers call me "Soccer Boy".
I'm a student union president, other students call me "Lackey Boy".
Pretty normal stuffs.
(marketing made it up)
You know what? I´ll make them, whatever I want them to be. They will all be fishermen now. Solved!
And anything that’s different get’s a special term attached to it. So yeah
He was a gamer boy, she said see you later boy...
AND NOW I GOT THE SONG STUCK IN MY HEAD. And so do you, likely.
the term girl gamer is actually a form of gatekeeping on The gaming community. And it's completely pointless we are all gamers. Like someone said earlier you wouldn't say boy gamer. One of my best friends is a girl and she is pretty serious about gaming. I've never once called her a gamer girl. She's just a gamer.
