The Last Of Us 2: Controversy or Critical Acclaim? ( PS4 )

First of all, I loved the first game. I have the second one pre-ordered.

I skimmed You Tube ( briefly ) and apparently there was a leak, the game is a complete atrocity etc. BUT...it's the internet. Is this all noise or is there a real problem with the game? Are you planning on buying it on the June 19th?

The Last of Us II is going the way of The Last Jedi, (which basically killed the Star Wars franchise.) The Last of Us is going the way of Star Wars. Naughty Dog is going the way of LucasFilm. Sony is likely going the way of Disney, (which is now in serious financial troubles if you do not follow financial news or the market.)

I bought a PS4 -- my very first Playstation -- mainly to play Horizon: Zero Dawn. However, I will definitely NOT be buying a PS5, now that I know that Horizon, previously a Playstation exclusive series, will also be available on the PC. I am primarily a PC gamer, and I strongly prefer playing on the PC way more than on any console, (which is why I had never bought a Playstation before Horizon: Zero Dawn finally convinced me to buuy a PS4.) I am patient. I do not mind waiting years to play a favorite game on my favorite platform, (the PC,) as long as I know for sure the game will be available on the PC.

While Horizon was the primary reason for me to finally jump in to Playstation, Naught Dog's Uncharted and The Last of Us games were the secondary reasons. I had wanted to play the Uncharted series and The Last of Us since the PS3 days, but they were not enough to convince me to buy a PS3 (or PS4.) They were nice but not enough to convince me to invest in a console. Action-adventure is not the type of games that could convince me to buy a console.

I got to play the Uncharted series and The Last of Us on PS4 after I bought the console to play Horizon, and I actually enjoyed them a lot. However, The Last of Us II abandoning good stroytelling to go full SJW/woke (like Star Wars did) is just another reason for me to NOT buy a PS5. So, seems like PS4 will be the ONLY Playstation I have ever owned.

P.S. This is also just like Andromeda that went full SJW/woke and killed the Mass Effect franchise.

Some of the hate are justifiable, but overall it's still an amazing game. Expect some really good setpieces, suspense, and tension (not sexual tension )

I purchased it and I gotta say this game is quite incredible. If you liked the first one you will certainly like this one. Pretty much an upgrade on all aspects. But the story is equal.

I'm not buying it - I never played the first game. I'm also not too fond of Naughty Dog because of their working conditions.

I never played Deus Ex because it is not a kind of game that I'm particularly interested in, but as far as I know it is much better than Bioshock, so I don't want to say anything about it, I just don't know it enough, but Bioshock have been horribly overrated and it didn't anything particularly good for this industry that I can think of. I wonder if you could actually tell me the reason why it made this industry better. Spoiler:I also played it a few hours and from a story perspective the game is trash but it does everything else better.Joel is completely out of his character and you realize and get the feeling they just wanted to get rid of him....he is the last of us and most players related to him and seeing him die this way was the most disgusting szene i have ever seen in a video game plus combined with the ending where you hunt the killer the whole time(and also play as her) only to let her live because you realize revenge is pointless lol but you killed 100000000000000000 on your way but neil druckmann thought this would be the right way to end it.Seriously if anyone defends that i can’t this person seriously.Next one we have to worry about is nathan drake because he is in the same category like our hero here with neil drickmanns lead it only can get worse
