First of all, I loved the first game. I have the second one pre-ordered.

I skimmed You Tube ( briefly ) and apparently there was a leak, the game is a complete atrocity etc. BUT...it's the internet. Is this all noise or is there a real problem with the game? Are you planning on buying it on the June 19th?

The story was pretty great with one bad direction decision. Even then, how can a story be worth 50% of a video game rating? The game is so much more than its story.

One?There are so many plot holes and you also cant connect to any of these characters because the pacing is all over the place.Killing of joel in the most disgusting way is just one thing but playing as the antagonist for a very long time is crappy storytelling on another level and combined with the ending....but yeah if you are happy with game good for you i guess

Ya, forcing us to play as Abby was a terrible decision. But thats really the only thing they did that was bad storytelling. No one is going to want to sit through Abby gameplay. Other than that, killing Joel, the ending, its just a depressing story. I wouldn't want anything else from TLOU.

Also something else I thought about... Ellie and Joel together doomed mankind. Joel did because he killed the doctors that were about to find a cure. Ellie doomed mankind because she is a lesbian who will never reproduce and allow evolution to naturally provide a cure.

I suppose. I don't see her changing her mind about men though. I also don't see her wanting to get it done artificially given the off chance they even do that anywhere in the apocalypse. If she dies before she reproduces the cure dies with her and their only hope is that another human eventually develops an immunity they can pass down generations for evolution.

It doesn't seem like a gene it seems like dormant virus. If the virus is passed onto the child and it mutates who knows what could happen. You see creatures in both games not a pretty site. Ellie and her lineage could be the end of humanity.
