Easy to play garden and farming games?

My mother is not really a gamer and she is interested in getting into it but her genres she wants to play are games with farming or gardening or both. What are some suggestions for someone who is completely new to the genres and gaming? Thank you for your time and suggestions.

Not sure how far you're wanting to go with gardening and farming, but Viridi is the first thing that comes to mind for someone new to gaming.

I honestly have no idea if it's an easy game to play. Since it does take literal reality into a game. I haven't played it before, but I do know it's a fantastic game.

Stardew Valley might work. It's fairly simple if you stick largely to the farming. And it might give your mom an opportunity to want to experiment with gaming. It's got some really neat stuff going on in it, and through can be a learning curve for later in the game, but you can literally spend all your time farming, going into town picking up seeds coming back and tilling the land. Watering planting picking selling mostly by sticking it in the delivery box.

It's pretty simple just to clear out your farm and get things going.

Ah thank you that is something i looked at but wasn't sure about. Yeah if she can just get started gaming even by spending her time farming in stardew then it is a good start. I will purchase that game soon when i can. I just bought a $22 or something bundle of farm frenzy games and plant tycoon as well as plantera a bit ago so will have to wait a bit.

Animal crossing is kind of fun. Not a ton of farming though. You do get the opportunity to collect fruit from other places and grow gardens of flowers. It's more about interacting with your townsfolk, doing various jobs and generally hanging out being the mayor.
