I got a BenQ 144Hz Monitor and so far it's been really ideal. I didn't hear of these neither but then they turned out really decent experiences... or experience.

Yes they are a well known brand from Canada. I don't know anything about that model though. The AOC 24g2 is $20 cheaper and when I was shopping around for a new monitor in January it was the best 1080p 144hz monitor I saw.

Finding the right monitor is a weeks long spiritual journey that is different for everyone. All the brands sell good and bad monitors. Most don't make their own panels. Often competing monitors from different brands use the same panels, yet they can vary in their overdrive tuning, adaptive sync support level, refresh rate and price.

Rtings, tftcentral, pcmonitors.info or hwu (within the last year or so when they started doing proper response testing) are the best places for in depth reviews of how monitors perform.

Never heard of them. Budget might be a concern, but look for brands you have heard; Logitech, Kipsch, Samsung. Look at reviews, do some research.
