DRAGON SLAAAAAVE!!!
He was taught by David Bowie himself.
If I were to assume Adult Aang and "Yes" for my proposed instances ... I'd say it'd be a close shave but Aang would win out due to Blood Bending Chakra points preventing Naruto from using Jutsu and being able to fight Ninetails in spirit realm and Naruto in physical realm at same time. Though could go either way since Naruto's raw physical ability is insane and Sage state doesn't need Chakra.
Otherwise Naruto wins hands down; the scaling/power progression is just nuts. The comparison is basically Goku(Naruto) vs Ryu(Aang); both awesome and powerful characters... but leagues apart in terms of Power/Ability.
All of aang's are really projectile in nature. And aside from training at the air Temple he doesn't have extensive close quarters martial arts experience, while Naruto' specializes in taijutsu. And he can use elemental power to upgrade his primary ranged attacks.
Just my thoughts on it and I didn't have an opinion on it until I read this question 2 minutes ago
Aang's been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead for like 17 years in Legend of Korra. That's why there even is a Korra.
offtopic -
I did wish Nick would release the OST for Avatar & Korra :(. I loved the music in that series.
Yasuharu Takanashi plz release remaning OST from Naruto plz.
I was referring to his adult form as seen in Legend of Korra flashbacks, since in the flashback, he was much stronger/smarter and had mastered many abilities; including Blood Bending, Metal Bending, Lava Bending etc. Makes a big difference compared to kid/young Aang.
Though I don't think it would matter that much since the only worthwhile thing would be Blood Bending... yet I think Naruto would still win thanks to Sage mode. Like I said; leagues apart.
EDIT: Honestly haven't really thought about it until I saw this thread. Used to enjoy doing these types of thought experiments and watch stuff like Death Battle.... until people can't stand for their favoritest most bestest character lose and need to bastardize science/physics to skew things in their favor.
The Avatarverse is up there with the Paul Dini DCAU in proving western cartoons a serious medium. Quite the milestone.
