Lol, kidding. Yeah, it's probably Blazing Saddles. I do love Sukiyaki Western Django, though, as well as the Man With No Name movies and Magnificent Seven, and True Grit. One of my favorites that's unconventional, though, is Bad Day at Black Rock. And in the same vein, I'm pretty sure No Country For Old Men counts. Doesn't have to take place pre-WW1 to be a western.

Blackthorn was also pretty good, would like to add that as my #2 pick. It's about a very old and aging butch cassidy who's settled in Bolivia but gets drug back into action. Kinda like Unforgiven and just as good IMHO.

If you've never seen the movie gunless, it is on YouTube in its entirety. it's a Great Western comedy about a gunfighter from the old west crossing the Canadian border. And he meets stereotypical Canadians. It's actually really funny and really well acted.
