It's short yet interesting, but I wouldn't personally buy it solely for campaign so go for it.

Not for the single player campaign only, no.

Is the game overall worth it? Is it better then BFV?

Paid $5 for if in one of the last Origin Sales, didn't even bother to finish it.

If you want a more fleshed SP campaign and like Star Wars go for Battlefront 2. it has a way better SP Campaign and actual SP gamemodes (Solo Vs Bots) which Battlefield stopped having since Battlefield 3 (Reason why I've never paid more than $5 for any of the following BF games)

Battlefield has always had trash campaigns. Last good one I played was Bad Company 2 back in the days.

The tank crew campaign is nice but not 5$ nice. BF1 is a multiplayer game through and through.

Is it a good multiplayer game? Is it worth it?

It's a hell lot better than the content Battlefield V has. Battlefield 1 is still populated as I just played it a while ago.

Battlefield is a multiplayer focused game. Single player is like an added mod.
If you enjoy singleplayer FPS, then buy one of those proper singleplayer games such as Wolfenstein series ( except Youngblood), Far Cry series or the newer Doom games.

Multiplayer wise it's fantastic.

I highly recommend playing on Hardcore mode as players there show more restraint when it comes to throwing explosives and shooting as the only reliable way of figuring out if the person in front of you is an enemy or ally is by their uniform and team kill penalties stack up FAST.

It's a WW1 FPS with a campaign. It's short, mediocre, and fairly inaccurate, but it's the only one I know of. If you want a WW1 FPS, it's basically your only option. If you just want a good FPS campaign and don't care about the setting, you could defenately do worse, but I wouldn't recommend it over many other games.

I haven't played it for years so it may have changed since then, but I thought it was alright. It's the only Battlefield game I've played so I can't compare it to previous or subsequent titles, but I rarely play online games and BF1 is the only game that managed to get me playing its multiplayer for more than a couple of days before getting tired of it.

Not really
It's a short campaign but personally it has a lot of character and is SOOO different than any other games at the time. Personally I got the game for the campaign. Do with this what you please.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
