Twitch streamers begging for subs

It's not just this InvaderVie chick that's the problem, every single big streamer reacting to this situation is a hypocrite including Destiny. They all pressure their viewers in different ways to sub instead of just being entertaining and letting it happen. Instead they pressure viewers by calling out non subs every 10 minutes for being poor or I won't read anything you have to say if you don't sub etc, it's all the same crap wrapped in a different box. Twitch needs a new policy in place to make such obvious begging against ToS then the platform would be a whole lot friendlier and perhaps have less degenerates roaming around.

Just my take on it, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this matter?

I see it all the time. The moment I know they're doing so, I realise they're not worth the time and unfollow and block. I stick to genuine streamers not scroungers begging for me to use my paycheck on them.

In a way I feel bad for them. If Twitch is anything like Youtube, then the streamers are constantly trying to find ways for people to support their channel otherwise they don't make any money. Which in turn means they can't support themselves.

Now sure the argument could be made that they should get a "real job" but I don't see them any differently than stand up comedians. If a up and coming comedian can't catch a break and bring in the big crowds, they're done for. It's actually interesting to think about when you start making the comparisons.

Anyways, Twitch doesn't need to do much about the the streamers who beg for subs. Because they're just ruining themselves. No one likes a complainer or the desperate - unless it's a comedy routine but even then, it gets old fast. Word will get out that they're begging and only the very charitable people will support them due to pity. It's a cutthroat means of making a living - those who don't want to put in the effort and make sacrifices are not going to get ahead. It's true for streaming or any other career.

I can tell you 100% that Twitch is not like that, the people who beg for subs are just greedy. WingsOfRedemption is able to make a living off Twitch and he's a complete lolcow.

Then it's the usual ho-hum about people wanting something for nothing? I stand corrected then. I still feel they're just putting their bits to the grinder by begging and not actually making an effort into making a quality channel.
