I mean if it grows there its not exactly out of place. It's a bit more of a personal choice almost like having a beard. You either have one or you shave I don't see much difference

Or make it simple.
Let it grow and if a guy you like doesnt like the hair, offer him that he can shave it.

Honestly hair on human females would seem to be vestigial. Just like males have useless nipples. On the other hand why are males like myself cursed with extreme amounts of matted body hair and excessive facial hair? It seems to have no function unless I was living in some really cold climate as around July it becomes so uncomfortable I have to spend several hours completely shaving it.
