Back to the topic, I wouldn't say he is lucky due to the fact that he made the money that many Youtubers nowadays cannot even close to that BY HIS OWN WORK (even if most of his contents are crap now). Gotta say i respect him for that, he might be an ass but at least he is not Le Van Luyen, he does not kill people, not being a pedo, did some charities, etc. whatever.
"Not killing people" isn't something worthy of "respect".
Youtube does requiere a good dosage of luck. Haven't really been watching Felix lately, but I hope he's doing alright.
I have to vote no.. because he used 1 PC, 1 microphone, and that is all. There is no advantage in his career. We have the same hardware and we can afford better ones.
If it were us, can we talk about a game and get 100,000 viewers? I think most probably just 10-1000 (with luck). We might probably run out of energy after 5 games and just want to play games in private. Can we really run the show, and reinvent ourselves for over 10 years?
Although his videos did not entertain me as much, he have entertained many younger brothers and sisters. It shows that he understand what they wanted. We have failed to build that bridge and keeping the PC all to ourselves - therefore they turn their attention towards pewdiepie. He creates laughter, happiness, and getting them all involved to a bro fist group. The bonding is real. It could be acting, but it has happened.
He is now 30+ and he is giving advise to many adults whom he have once inspired. I believe they are all very thankful to have him in their journey of life. If he dies tomorrow, he will be remembered by many. It is not about having luck anymore. It is proven ability.
Few years back I disliked him too, but he as he aged, he stick to what he does best. I wonder why I've ever held a negative grudge against him in the first place. His effort have convinced me that it is neither a 3 minute interest, nor an irritating person. It was his lifelong hardwork.
Some ppl also searched an old post to show how much they despise someone
Yea i can see why this world is a joke
Luckiest people on the planet are people who can feel happy, and content in their life, regardless of how little they have, no matter how hard their life is, and dont want more.
