The have their own storefront called Battle.net. It's a rule that every publishers should have their own storefront. Maybe someday each indie devs will have their own launcher has well.

Because its already doing amazing without steam, why should it be here?

most of the worlds largest games are not on steam.

Because they want it on their own launcher, not on Steam. Simple as that.

Battle.net is a decent enough launcher as well. It might not have the community stuff that Steam does, but it works, and well enough to be worth downloading for any games on there that you're interested in.

Why make 30% less when you can make 100% profit? They are big enough to have their own store in combination with Blizzard.

Activision and Blizzard have an agreement together where games published by Activision would be on Battle.net, mostly modern games though (Destiny 2 for when it was on Battle.Net, and the Modern Warfare games)

Because Modern Warfare is published by Activision, which is a part of the bigger Activision/Blizzard company. So to save money, they just put it out on the Blizzard launcher (Battle .net) instead of having to pay Steam to sell it here and they keep a part of the profits.

I still don't see the point in that, When they could put it in all the launchers and make more money.

People who don't care could buy it from Battle.net and they get 100% profit, we can buy it on Steam and they get 70% profit as opposed to 0% profit.

then you would have steam fanboys who cannot grasp steam is "just another launcher" saying stuff like "LOLZ daed gamz only 60 online on steamdb" forgetting that millions play via battle.net and consoles.

and a rule of thumb, if someone is so in love with steam they will use no other launcher.. they are the type of gamer that every community is better off without.

The point is simple, why take all the risks and let another company profit (in this case valve).

Put it this way, why are all valve games only on steam and not elsewhere. Same reason why COD games are not on steam.

Bang on. Most people, myself included, would just buy it on Steam if they had the choice, and the company would lose profit because of it. Fair move on their part, and not something I'm bothered by in this case, because the Battle.net launcher actually works, whether it's as good as Steam or not.

^ Your 2nd sentence doesn't make sense.

So a community is better off without having a loyal customer? What?
They eventually come to steam but until their run is over on their own storefronts/platforms.

It's why Bethesda's FO:76 came to steam and why epic exclusives do too to try to siphon what little money they can out of the rest of the population of gamers.

The latest ones aren't, for all the reasons we've told you.

from a business standpoint that isnt how it works
if a popular game is only available on one launcher, a lot of people will flock to said launcher
so if said game was available on all platforms, i would assume steam would get the most sales
vs if people are willing to switch launchers they would be getting a hell of a lot more profit

as for all the people who wont buy because no steam? the loss of profit on that is most likely compensated by the 30% extra profit they are making and then some

as those games age only then it would probably release to other launchers to maximize publicity and profits, in other words milk it, at least thats my idea
