How do more people not understand this?

Maybe Ron Paul's racist newsletters made people not want to dig deeper into the political philosophy.

Most people barely even know who Ron Paul is, all they know is the "It's Happening!!" meme. Plus I've never seen nor heard of these newsletters. As again next to nobody knows about him nor brings him up.

Starbug, what about flags of other nations, flown by their nationals or expats? Is there any of that like I see in American cities?

You're more likely to see regional flags like Welsh, English, Scottish and NI. I haven't noticed other nations flags outside of football or cricket competition time. The latter brings out a bunch of Indian and Pakistani flags.
Yeah, our version of that isn't state flags: most Americans don't know state flags very well. Our version is NFL and MLB logos. That's our regionalism here. Pride in teams of football and baseball players as representing specific cities that most of those players aren't even from. It's very strange. Of course, that also trickles down to college "pride" and rivalry, and further down to pride in individual high school teams (and disdain for the neighbor town's teams).

As I said, it's very strange to see when you don't care about sportsball.

On the contrary, if those traffic stops and parking tickets were issued maliciously, I would most definitely take it to court.

Good luck proving that.
Yeah that IS illegal, but it is insanely hard to prove in court. You'd most likely end up paying the tickets on top of the lawyer you hired.

On top of proving it, you still in fact violated the law.... so not only do you have to prove that you're being targeted you'd have to convince a judge to drop all tickets.....

Did you know the expression "based" originally referred to people addicted to crack? Some political philosophies are akin to a very addictive drug; being peddled to people looking for a deeper meaning in a cold world. Or those searching for the warm, comforting confirmation of their own prejudices.

Any flag you fly in your front yard is going to offend somebody, but it wouldn't offend me.

It's your house and your yard, so I say fly whatever flag you want to - just expect some folks to object to it (as I said, no matter what the flag is intended to represent), because that's how people are these days.
According to that logic, whoops out a Pirate flag.

Also it's not a question of if it offend as long as it offends someone, for all I care fly it when no one sees it, unless you want to provoke in which case.

I rest mine.

Im from the UK and we don't see many flags flying outside peoples houses here. I don't even think its legal to hang flags outside your house in most area's of the UK, we are not like the US were people are proud to hang their own flag.

But I don't believe the ancap flag flying outside someones house won't be welcome at all in the UK (just my two cents).

indeed, Americans can fly any flag they want, including the red background white circle and black swastika, and a primarily red flag with a blue cross and white stars. often these cause more trouble than they solve because of the politics involved in what they represent.

i'm just as glad the uk has a ban on these things to avoid all that misunderstanding.

Yeahp, thats about how it works. Had some psycho femnazi come and demand we take down our American flag last 4th of July because it's a sign of the patriarchy and everything that's wrong in the world. Probably the only thing my uncle and I ever agreed on as we told her to go ♥♥♥♥ herself sideways and then play in traffic.

UK is a funny place to live now days I would hang it on the wall inside instead, unless you want to test the grounds around you

I am confused over why people would think liberatarianism is fascist? Don't agree with it, but what I have heard is very much not-fascist.

I personally wouldn't care if you fly such a flag, but I don't know how things work in the UK.
