Anyway, to answer the question, for one you could probably ask authorities on whether or not you can hang a flag in your door, regardless of that flag it is. Maybe also ask what flags can and can't be put. If someone tries to confront you for being a fascist or something, then sit down and calmly explain why being ancap isn't being fascist, putting a lot of focus on getting your point across. If it works, good. If it doesn't, oof.

Also, please don't conflate libertarianism with anarcho-capitalism. You don't need to support abolishing the government to be a libertarian; it's more about the government respecting individual freedom, and stepping in when someone is stepping beyond their freedom and into yours.

How do more people not understand this?

Maybe Ron Paul's racist newsletters made people not want to dig deeper into the political philosophy.
nice bait. try harder
Well it wouldn't offend me, but I imagine someone would get offended.

Which could be bad in the UK.

Heh.
Im from the UK and we don't see many flags flying outside peoples houses here. I don't even think its legal to hang flags outside your house in most area's of the UK, we are not like the US were people are proud to hang their own flag.

But I don't believe the ancap flag flying outside someones house won't be welcome at all in the UK (just my two cents).

It's not frowned upon here. When I lived in the Boston area, it was quite common. South Boston was full of American and Ireland flags. Revere was full of American and Italy flags. East Boston was full of Mexican and Central American flags. Some places had a mix of all of them.
Ganger is right. We only fly flags during specific events (queen's bday, football world cups etc). Otherwise, we don't. We're not really a steeped in patriotism / attention seeker nation.

No-one will bother about it.
Starbug, what about flags of other nations, flown by their nationals or expats? Is there any of that like I see in American cities?
One time I saw thousands of people marching down the street in Chicago, all chanting something, and carrying and flying Mexico flags.

I don't speak Spanish, so I couldn't figure out what they were trying to say.
I look down on people who share their political opinions via flagpole.

You're more likely to see regional flags like Welsh, English, Scottish and NI. I haven't noticed other nations flags outside of football or cricket competition time. The latter brings out a bunch of Indian and Pakistani flags.
There is this thing called painting yourself a target.

Be proud of who you are and what you support, but be reserved on who you flaunt too.

If you think it is insanely stupid to go into a police station and express your freedom of speech by saying ♥♥♥♥ the police.... dont be complaining when you magically start getting traffic stops and parking tickets often.
