asus z170 pro gaming bios update
hi, i'm looking for the .cap file required to update my bios. if someone has a link or anything, let me know as i need it as my computer is currently not booting. i've tried everything and considering it is a problem with the bios, i figured that updating it would be a sure fix. thanks, please respond ASAP

Just a suggestion if you are doing anything hardware please post it in

"Hardware And Operating Systems"

Be careful! most of all, before you update a motherboard BIOS, make sure you have a clean usb drive (must be formatted).
But if your flash drive contains harmful viruses, this can make your mobo to f-cked up for no reason. I've did that before and my system went crazy :P

the ".cap" files is inside the .zip file you've downloaded on ASUS support.
If you haven't got yet, go to ASUS Support website, look for your motherboard Model Number, then go to drivers and tools> Windows 10(if you have)> BIOS> then select the latest BIOS update.
