How do I cite a dialogue from a game on APA format? I know. I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for citing a dialogue from a video game.

Video games are classified as software, so you can cite it the same way.

Here's[blog.apastyle.org] a post from the APA style blog. The reference looks like it should be

An in-text citation appears to just use the year and author, like usual. But since there's no author, you just use the year. For example,

Here's a piece of advice. In APA, you don't generally need to include an ellipsis at the start or end of a quotation. You only need to place one if the sentence would be otherwise misinterpreted.

And if you are using an ellipsis, make sure it's three spaced periods ( . . . ).
