What is the Genre of these Soundtracks?
This sounds like a really stupid and useless question, I know, but I swear half of my favorite tracks belong to a genre I don't know. Some are plain rock, some are royal-ish sounding and others are a electronic metal hybrid.
If someone would be so kind to tell me what genre these were a part of, that'd be nice.

Why not ask Croteam that in their game forums? They can tell you all you want to know about it.
True, I love their music, but I wanna see what other people think what genre these should be put into, if they should have one at all.

Well don't take my word for it, it's subjective and anyone else can tell you a different idea. Not even radio, TV or music shops will agree necessarily on what fits what genre and most music (as with most movies, videogames or other creative works) rarely fits neatly into a single category but often may be some elements of two or more.

If YOU think it's "Ambient", go right ahead and call it "Ambient", if someone disagrees, that's up to them :)
!

The notion of genre is highly subjective and also often attributed to marketing strategies as opposed to any actual systematic classification.

Certain genere definitions may require elements of specification, such as electronic synthesis or alternatively the use of accoustic instruments. The issues with further definitions often arise when elements of two or more genre tropes coincide. SHould this cbe considered belonging to either or all such, or warrant its own genre. This becomes meaningless and defeats the point of broad genre classification when individual albums or tracks then may warrant their own genre identification.

Therefore, call it what you will. If it makes sense to you, and benefits you in classification or organisation, then it serves its purpose.

1. Action Rock Instrumental

2/3. Orchestral / Symphonic

2&3 are also sometimes referred to as "epic."

Cinematic and production music is often tagged with keywords to describe the mood or feeling of the music like "uplifting", "moving", "sentimental", etc.

No problem, I actually work with production music in my line of work so I kind of understood what you were getting at.
