La-z-boy executive chair for pc gaming?

Hi all,

SO, I desperately need to upgrade my miserable $30 IKEA office chair, cause my back can't take it no more and I have back problems because of a sport injury.
I was planning on buying an X-Racer gaming chair but I live in a small apartment in New York and it would look HORRIBLE with the rest of my furniture and...definitely too big and "pro". So today I went to Staples and put my arse on a La-Z-boy Winston. I literally melted in it. The most comfortable chairs I ever sat on.

Now the question. Do you think that an exec chair like that is good for playing mouse + keyboard? I usually use a joypad, but I also love fps, so I don't wanna waste my money (it's $299.00)
I'm not a PRO gamer, I just play casual, but I'd like to have a comfortable rig. My desk is an IKEA Micke (the one with a cabinet on a side, so very small).

I hope can help you. I had the same problem with my back that couldn't take any more, so I bought a gamer chair, and it was the best thing I could do. If you are having back issues, I suggest a ball chair that will tighten up your core and force you to sit in the proper position.

La-z-Boy, oh boy oh boy. I worked for them for 6 years and they make it sound like its made in the US when only the handle for the recliner is made int he US and you got free repairs, ha right.... The springs on the base that attach the chair will pop the torques heads off eventually and charge you $120 for labor, but parts are free 50 cent torque scews....


But thats just me, Corporate laid off 214 ware house employees in only 3 weeks, And then sold the 2 of 3 the buildings, and opened another store down the road in a new building and hired all new or transferred all new employees, So yeah I strongly dislike La-Z-Boy....

I spent a few months with a standing desk, so no chair at all. It was probably the best choice for my back, and I felt a lot more alert and fit as a result of spending less time sitting. Not sure if that is an option at all, but from what I know about ergonomics, most comfortable chairs are pretty bad for us.
