- You wake up early when you could have slept in. Not on purpose.
- You buy a new video game and rack up over 600 hours in the first month.
- You watch mainstream https://youtu.be/fR231mQofds tik tok and think the youth are crazy.
- You can legitimately spout dad jokes.

You browse eBay and buy all the parts to build the first computer you ever had with all the upgrades you couldn't afford back then. I got myself a nice Radio Shack CoCo3 with all kinds of goodies and found out they're selling new hardware for the 30 year old computer.

Got an SD card cartridge loaded with tons of games from back in the 80's that originally came on 8/16KB cartridges, cassette tapes, and 5.25" single sided single density floppy disks. I even picked up a working TP-10 printer with a bunch of extra rolls of thermal paper and two pistol grip joysticks with the 6pin DIN connectors.

Something I will never do. That stuff was slow even when it was new.

To each their own, that said I hooked it up to an RGB -> HDMI converter and can use it on modern TV's. Hook up a laptop or smart phone and save and load programs like on cassette tape except using an audio program and the headphone/microphone jacks. Quite fun.

That's good. I have to hunt for paper bags at 'self' checkouts because I always forget my reusable bags.

A+ Its too bad they don't play some of their other stuff anymore, Steppenwolf had some really great tunes that never made it to mainstream, of course that's the case with most bands i suppose.
