Is my HP laptop good for gaming?

So, I just bought a new HP laptop and i'm now downloading TF2.
And i'm wondering if it can have a good fps in TF2?

I once had an HP gaming laptop. Both the hard drive and the GPU failed on it. Since Best Buy still had it under warranty, I had to trade it in for an ASUS...

as for different (laptop) manufacturers: what matters most are the cpu, memory, gpu.
the OP should have bought a newer intel 6th gen-based laptop.

Pretty much. It's not anything approaching a gaming machine, more like a very large Tablet.
