I'm not one to generalize, all fanbases/fandoms have bad, good and pornographic sides.

Give me an example of how a grown man walking into toysRus and buying plastic ponies each month can ever be good?

I'm not into MLP, but in my opinion, do whatever makes you happy, and as long as it's not hurting anyone (like, actually hurting people physically or emotionally, not like "omg cancer cringe" because I mean, that's kind of just you looking up stuff on the interwebs and creating your own adverse reaction) then why not? Then again one look at my profile and I'll probably get roasted on the topic of bad fanbases, but anyways, I stand by what I said. So really in my opinion why hate a fandom unless it's a "lets hurt people for real" fandom, anyways, you do you. Cheers! =3

AMD fans. They've been known to deliberately lie to inexperienced gamers so that they buy products that don't suit their needs. I've had to help four different friends who fell prey to that, all of them losing $300+ as a result.
