You don't. .iso files don't store individual .ico data, which is why they simply get the shortcut icon of the file associated with them, such as whatever you use to launch them. YOu are welcome to test it out for yourself. Just right-click a target, scroll down to properties. If change icon isn't down at the bottom of the pop-up window, you can't do it. Try it on a shortcut or executable, then and .iso, and yo will see what I am talking about.

Yeah. I am not sure if this is what you meant, but I did move them all to a folder, and create shortcuts of the, (which you can change icon on) so yeah, I hope thats what you were trying to say xD (kinda tired, so I could be wrong abotu waht you said...but it worked)

Oh, that is actually a pretty good work around! I didn't even remember shortcuts had .ico function! Neat.

xD yeah I love it now. everything finally has a icon to tell me what it is. nothing worse then tying to open one thing, and then having windows wanting to reinstall (fake scenario, I assume nothing liket that has ever happened

You need to change the .iso class registryfirs tot allow for individual specific icons.
edit the binary iso itself at offset something like 0xC8 or so point to the icon location (as from shell.dll) or as a custom dll with the custom icon.
___
EDIT
There's a very good chance that the next time sfc or a dism is run, this may be identified as a system integirrity violation. Also, future Windows updates may overwrite any such changes.

Yeah....no offense, but I feel like creating a shortcut is probably more simple...Thanks anyways. xD
