Anything similar to "Star Ocean"?

Other than FF, anyone know of any decent games on Steam that have a similar vibe to the "Star Ocean" series?
I know that there are a few "Tales" games, but I've not really seen much of anything else.

There aren't that many good JRPGS on PC, though things are getting better.

Unfortunately I can't help you - never played Star Ocean - but check out The Last Remnant for SE non-FF stuff.

Already have it. And i'm not looking for JRPGs, necessarily, just something will a simialr feel to the game.

I'm not familiar with Star Ocean at all, but...

I have no idea where I heard this but APPARENTLY the Dark Cloud series is set in the same universe as Star Ocean. I have no idea how the two games connect, though.
