Worst game? E.T. for Atari 2600...cant find anything that beats it..
Best game: Kerbal Space Program
The game is weird, you cant explain the feeling until you land on the moon for the first time ever, Its the best feeling of accomplishment I've ever gotten in a game. And I got that feeling again and again as I landed on each of the planets. Its a very satisfying game.
But the community MODS is the reason i've clocked 920+ hours in KSP. There are so many fun Space Missions to imagine up, SpaceStaion, Moon Base, Mars base, Asteroid redirect, bassically if you can do it in real life you can do it in KSP.
Worst Game: Starpoint Gemini 2. Its a beautiful game but its essentially a remake of the classic Freelancer game, and it brings nothing new to the table in my opinion. It comes off as a cheap game with crap writing and crap voice actors but amazing visuals and ship models
The worst game I've played was Uncharted. It's nothing I have a strong hatred for, but the gameplay got repetitive as the game progressed. The story started off solid, but slowly got more... wacky. The whole "adventure" aspect didn't really kick in either, and didn't really thrill me. The next few games got pretty good though.
In stark contrast.
Worst game of all time Fontier Elite 2 on Amiga 500, because it ran like crap. Only game I ever took back too retail store and demanded a refund (and got it).
Worse would probably be battlefield 2 or 4, or basically anything from EA.
Worst, Destiny. Mainly due to you having to buy the DLC for the game to be good in any sense of the word and without the DLC, the game is incredibly repetitive, the characters are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ robots with the only good ones being in the Taken King and the story is incredibly vague and lame.
Edit, the random loot is literally the worst loot system I have ever seen in a video game as well.
Worst I'd say is Ace of Spades. I played the game before it even went on steam, when it had no classes.(More skill based) Later when it came to Steam it was really popular, but then pay for dlc, then zombie mode was only so fun for zombies, and then they gave up on AOS and made a new one. Now it's dead, basically classic story of what happens to most video games.
Worst: Heavy Rain. This "game" is SO bad I actually fell asleep while playing it.
I honestly don't even know what David Cage was thinking when he made Heavy Rain. It's littered with so many obvious plot holes and the story progression is literally hinged upon the stupidity of the main character. Beyond: Two Souls wasn't a whole lot better but at least it had much better voice acting.
I'm not sure it gets my personal vote for worst game, though. For me it's probably a tie between Metal Gear Solid 4 and Silent Hill 4: The Room.
Best: Silent Hill 2. Because I prefer horror games that are about exploring the depths of the human psyche, but subtle enough that it requires multiple runs to really digest the whole story because you find something new each time.
I play games mainly for the story, so I don't mind games like that on occasion. But I've also been known to fall asleep playing pretty much any type of game.
