Gaming chairs
Why are most gaming chairs simply racing car seats with wheels? What makes them think a racing seat is comfy? Many of the ones I have tried have holes in the back for the seatbelts and also wings on the sides to stop you sliding out when cornering at speed but all they do is push your shoulders forwards or squeeze them together like being sat between 2 500lb sumo wrestlers.

Are there any good ones or is it better to just get a high quality office chair?

Those vinyl covered racing chairs are horrible imho, especially if you are bit on the heavy side or just with larger body type, check out this article instead.

Pretty much any average office chair is more than enough.

All this stuff about "gaming chairs" are just a way to take money from suckers.

I just got an office chair from Office Depot on sale for $60 about a year ago. It is still extreamly comfortable even after sitting in it for 4 hour or more a day. If you want a good chair, and have a local Office Depot/Office Max then go check them out. I'm sure you will find a really good chair at a decent price during the holiday sale season.

Those chairs are more like it. They cost twice the price but look loads better at least.

I am not particularly heavy, just got broad shoulders and long back so often chairs with head rests fall at the top of my shoulders making it seriously uncomfortable.

It's a bummer being tall even in this day and age of tall people, everything is still seems to be designed for the average height from 50 years ago. Sinks, cash machines, parking meters, self service tills, chairs, sofas beds.

Yup, the side had an auxiliary hook in with volume and bass tuners.

Also had those older audio hook-ins that you would use before HDMI cables became a thing.
