The Harry Potter Games

I know it has nothing to do with steam, but I bet some of you people can give me some answers :D So basically, my question is, how can I play the Harry Potter games on PC? I mean, a game was out for every movie, and no platform seems to sell them (I am not referring to the Lego games)... Is there a place where I can buy for instance The Deathly Hallows 2 and play it on my computer because it seems like they never sold keys/stopped producing copies...

Probably cus they're crappy movie games that were made in less than a year to be pumped out before the movie. They're probably doing you a favour by not having the games available.

But to answer your question, you'd probably need to look on eBay or something for a physical copy

Those games were on PC, but they were published by EA. Chances are they aren't being sold anymore due to licensing.

You'll have to hunt for a physical copy.

Yeah, I know they suck ass but I want to try them anyway, I mean, it's been ages since they were released, they must cost like 1$ or something (Unless you are Call of Duty)...

All you can do is ask EA why they aren't selling them anymore. As I said, the answer will probably be licensing. When licenses expire, the publisher has the choice to renew them or to stop selling the games. Most choose the former, as the expenses of renewing the licenses often is higher than any sales they think they'll get.

Yeah the games were bad so I guess they went for the second option

i'm not a big fan of those movies but i played 2 harry botter games and they were awesome (^_^) 1 was a NES thing but even for a nes, it was still very good imo. the other 1 was on PC windows, something about philosopher stone? but i didn't finish any of them and this was definitely over 10 years ago :-/

How was there a Harry Potter for the nes? The N64 and PS1 were things when the first book came out. Even if it came out for an old platform at release, it'd be SNES at worst.

idk much about consoles since i never had 1 ok?.. except when i was very little boy.. i googled a bit and these r the 2 games:

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - i think this was for console, for game boy color or whatever.. but game looked better as i remember than what i see now. in my game, there was a hard part when i had 2 fly on a stick, even if game was 2D. so that's where i quit. :(

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - and this is surely the game for PC because i remember many things from many screenshots: the 2 companions which are the boy and girl, u can use wand 2 move large objects like some kind of telekinesis spell, etc
