How do you wipe when you run out of toilet paper?

Why don't more people have bidets? They are very common where I live but I hear they're not in more developed parts of the world, makes no sense to me

I don't know either. They just do not have them here in the USA. You can buy toilets with them built in. But very few do. I want one. But I am too cheap to get one installed. My very old house has bad wiring and I would need to pay for some upgrading to be able to use the heater part. And I do want that.

If you have a dog or cat, they might help. They seem to like that. Especially dogs. They will love and bond with you even more.

just buy a two way faucet and connect the bidet to it.
buy teflon tape to 'tighten' pipe/faucet connections as needed.

That wastes a lot of water just to get the warm water to the end. I would much rather have the instant-heater. And I would have to run that hose across the floor or pay to have more plumbing installed.

Buy some notebooks, rip off their sheets and press them by both of your hands to the form of circle until they are not thick anymore and then unfold it; Now you have a toilet paper.
