Is it possible ot use a third party XBOX One controller with Forza Horizon 4?

I bought it as a stopgap before I can afford a wheel, and I wasn't going to shell out 50 dollars. It works perfectly with every other game I own including two other gamepass titles, but for some reason Forza refuses to recognize any input from it.

it should be working just fine, make sure to enable controller in the options though.

Are you on the client? Go to Steam in the top left. Go to settings and look for controller.

Uhhh... try clearing the console's cache? That usually fixes things on the XBox 360. Don't know if that's still a thing though.

You never said that. And it works with other games but not this one? Maybe it's the game's settings then.

When it's plugged in is it being detected in Devices under your PC's settings?

I don't know what to tell you then! It looks like it's a common issue just by typing it into search on Google.

You probably have to enable something in the GAME! In the OPTIONS!

Options don't show where to enable the controller, and Google hasn't been helpful
