Ik its ridiculous and its hollywood to this day uses "Mongol" as an insult. I guess in 2019 you can be racist to races that don't have a billion people.
Are you sure they're not saying "mongrel"?
However, if you really want to read that deep into it:
Fu-Xi (pronounced "Foo-SHEE"), is a villain snake in it. Once, Fu-xi was a brave and noble warrior, regarded by many snakes as a hero and treated like a lord. Fu-xi defended others with his incredible skills and fear-inducing venom. But when others regarded him and his kind with paranoia and hate, Fu-xi changed for the worst, taking on a racist hatred towards "two-leggers" in retaliation for their violence and persecution.
Fu-xi was most likely based off of the deity of the same from Chinese mythology, who was the first member of the Three Sovereigns, a group of god kings who ruled over China five thousand years ago. He is typically described to be snake-like in appearance, with a human head and a reptilian body.
So yes, you are correct in that the show has racist characters, but that racism happens to be their own downfall.
yes
also the director is an American of Han Chinese ancestry
I don't think a snake has 'two-legs'... it wasn't their own kind. Fu-Xi considered Po a 'two-leg' and stereotyped him accordingly.
You appear to be crying racism, for an anti-racist show, which even teaches morals and values.
Are you looking for a show to worship for your own racist ways? Because there's much better ones out there to pick from...
Considering that's what you are ironically doing yourself... huh, what do you know.
If you assume media would change anything, but apart from a weak mentally unstable mind to start off with, you are clearly just scapegoating it for justifying that behaviour.
(in b4 his mother crying about some violent video game made him do it)
