It's a Demon's Souls lite created by the same dev team of Demon's Souls. It keeps the repetitive combat with all the RPG elements stripped out.

It is Sekiro not Sakiro
Basically a Dark Souls/Blood Borne style game. If that interest you, then I suggest getting it as it has been rated really high already for a lot of people.
Honestly, after playing Sekiro for hours and beating it last night...

I don't get why everyone is comparing it to Dark Souls or Bloodborne; clearly the game is like Tenchu. However the "Dark Souls" come in when you face Bosses and Mini-Bosses.

IMO, if you like the Tenchu games and always wanted absurdly designed Bosses; you'll love Sekiro. If you were hoping for a Dark Souls version of Nioh, you are literally going to hate Sekiro with a passion.

What if i haven't tried either of the two games you mentioned?
If you don't like combat where enemies can kill you in a few hits, where super precise attack timing, parrying and the like is required to beat, and don't like having to likely retry the same fight over and over and over to get past something, it may not be a game for you. Try watching Twitch streamers play it instead, it's rather entertaining.

If you do like that sort of thing because when you finally beat an uber punishing boss it feels awesome, then you may love it.

It is NOT like TW3 or Monster Hunter.

Nice answer
I think the Bosses in (Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) should have an option to lower the hardness level maybe after you get beat but keep the rest of the game the same. I haven't got the time to sit there and play hour after hour after hour so I just keep getting smashed by the bosses, it's very frustrating. Feeling like I've wasted $120.00 AU, pretty annoyed actually, I won't be buying any more games like this if us part timers can't get past the first few bosses. Please fix this problem.

Such games arent for casual gaming and beginners. Go use a trainer and perfect the art of combat.
I personally love having my B hind handed to me, nothing like a game that makes you work rather than grind or worse still presents a hollywood movie experience i walkthrough as the star that requires even less effort than the prior.
Its a console action game like DS.
Its pretty casual as most console games
