never timed myself but I have dived a few times while swimming for around 30 seconds or so. Never tried to hold it longer and don't really want to unless I am trying to escape a burning house and want to minimise how much smoke I inhale.

I used to hold my breath in the car as a kid for practice. "If i can't hold my breath until we're out of this tunnel I die" (technically the exact opposite /s) 2 minutes was my max probably.

I think it’s an average around 45 seconds. I used to be able to do it much longer when I was swimming every week.
