Why Do Girls Like Taller Guys?
So I know girls tend to be more attracted guys, but why is this? I've never really understood this.
引用自 CatPerson:
-I'm short and grew up around tall men.
-I like men with long legs (and arms for that matter), just like some men like women with long legs.
-I probably do feel a bit "safer" but that has more to do with me being very tiny. I'd feel safer in the company of any second person vs. being alone.

Social expectations/habits - most famous actors are taller for example. Taller men appear to often be viewed more favorably in general or something and are statistically paid a bit more over their lifetime then shorter men. It's likely in far past history when diets were poorer for many that growth was stunted thus taller men were considered more unusually attractive/healthier/richer etc. All kinds of possible reasons.

I've had this question for a really long time. I've been tall and it's plain to see, so why do girls fall in love with me?

Love the "feel safe and secure" answers yet domestic abuse and intimate femicide are on an all time high even when you all only date tall men to feel safe and secure, why is this happening?

Isn't this a bit of a reach? I mean it would make sense if only tall guys were in relationships, but all sizes of guys are, and anyone can fall victim to abuse, no matter how the abuser appears on the outside. Could even be a short girl attacking and manipulating a tall man.

Last I read a full third of domestic abuse cases were women abusing men and it was on the rise.

Short or tall, thin or fat, none of that is gonna determine whether a person is gonna be abusive or not.

I don't think height has any correlation to domestic violence and abuse, it is more likely to be related to drugs or alcohol abuse and the party culture.

I think it has, when a woman likes a tall guy for all the reasons listened here it gives me the impression that they love to be physically dominated by their men, stone age style. They just don't openly say it.

And for a man who's used to this kind of physical dominance to turn on their woman is quite easy with terrible consequences.

Especially in big cities there are guys and girls of all the different heights, but women basically only date taller guys, so... The difference in physical power and dominance is still there.

A quick search here

"Nearly 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have experienced severe physical violence by an intimate partner during their lifetime"

"85% of domestic violence victims are female, and 15% are male."

Something tells me this post in particular is an asspull.

I would disagree, because that's basically implying that these women brought it upon themselves when they entered relationships with a taller, more "dominant-looking" man, which isn't the case. Typically these abusers are sweet and deceiving in the beginning, not just awful people right off the bat. /: So it's not like a girl hops into a relationship like hey, he's dominant and protective (I mean some do but yeah). I think the "secure" thing is more of a girl feeling warm and safe in his arms while cuddling. That could just be me though, as like I said, I don't typically care about height.

For starters, a significant amount of men don't have dominance impulses beyond competitive spirit, which is far from being enough to cause unnecessary violence. Second, from those who do have a more violent nature, there are many who control it or at least try.
About women having a submissive nature, just like with men, you're heavily exaggerating female tendencies that reside km how the female brain is wired to try to aid people, something called mother instinct, something that developed in not just humans but mammals altogether to make the offspring more likely to survive.

It's all VERY subtle and most of the times women don't even realize it.

I mean, if tall and dominant looking guys turn you on they turn you on, there's nothing you can do about it

About the secure part i couldn't know cuz i'm a guy. If a guy doesn't have noticeable strong muscles and core strength he isn't strong to me, no matter how long and lanky his legs are. But obviously women view strength differently

I'm 5'11 which is just above average though I wouldn't mind being a bit taller.

I think their submissive nature when choosing a tall men is, frankly, quite obvious. Like I said, it's stone age stuff

About the 1st paragraph I'm not talking about the majority

I'm 5'11" too but I've no interest in being taller. Beyond 6'1" I can only see it being a hinderance.
