RWBY is an American anime-style web series and media franchise created by Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth. The show is set in the fictional world of Remnant, where young people train to become Huntsmen and Huntresses to protect their world from the creatures of Grimm.Wikipedia
Stylistic choice. I also don't really like it, but tastes and all.
The main monsters of the show are called "Grimm" and are attracted to negative emotions, hence why most of the world (Remnant) lives in centralized Kingdoms, which are essentially cities that are nation-states. There are few outlying villages but they mostly fall prey to Grimm attacks.
Also, there are two main species of people, Humans and Faunus, Faunus being half-animal half human beings (Basically humans with small animal features such as cat ears or tails).
The main Antagonist of the show is a Witch called Salem, as well as smaller antagonists like Roman Torchwick, and the White Fang.
The show is also sort of well known due to it's soundtrack, which consists of rock / punk rock-ish songs that typically accompany fight scenes or character specific scenes.
Also, as for the Animation, it was a low-budget production from Season 1-2, Volume 1 had no background characters (just silhouettes), and Volume 2 and 3 did. Volume 4 and onwards changed the animation to be less...I guess the word I can describe it with is "janky", it was much more smooth after that. As for the 3D aspect, the main designer of the show (who is now dead) wanted to do a sort of fusion of 3D and 2D anime.
The fact the creator died post Season 3 has also been used by fans as a reason for why the show took such a drastic turn and change in tone, however Rooster Teeth themselves have stated repeatedly they are still using his source material and notes for the show, which should last around 10-12 seasons.
I should also note that Rooster Teeth has also recently released Gen:Lock, another American Anime by the RWBY Team, for anyone interested, it's basically Gundam but made by Rooster Teeth.

Grimm Eclipse is kinda only fun if you're a fan of the show and have friends to play it with. Although the story technically is canon and set between Season 2 and 3 I think.
Yap but also kinda short, i own it it could use a lot of polishing in areas:P since it's the types of games where you fight into only certain areas kinda like boss rooms
