BF2143?
has anyone heard anything about the remake of BF2142? I believe they had some easter eggs of BF2143 around BF4 and nothing come of it. I want to play BF2142 at least in coop and I can't. I heard of this mod patch remaster edition but it changes the weapons and such. I do not want that. I want to just play the game as it is....at least in coop. Anyone have a clue how?

Never heard of 2143...hope it's not consoles exclusive like 1943

me too dude. Im still waiting for a remake of it. I thought it was 2143 like they shown in the easter eggs in BF4.

it's basically a remake of BF2142 they said they were going to do, so I thought. I am still waiting for BF1943 for PC now that you mentioned it. That looked like a lot of fun and we missed out on that. Well I missed out on it cause I dont own nor will I own a console. Im in my 40s already and I have no plans lol.

Dunno. I’d be keen for something like it, though I doubt I’d buy it at this point. It was a big talking point near the end of BF4’s life cycle, but nothing really came of it.

No. I don’t think BF is ever going back to the far future. I think they’re set with doing modern and past settings.
I really wish they would do it though. I never got to play 2142 due to the fact I’d never heard about it until it was too late, but from what I’ve heard, the game was really cool despite some of the designs being really bland. I hope someday, 2143 does somehow miraculously make its way to release.

yes, I dont own nor will I ever own a console. BF2142 was and still is my favorite battlefield game. After that I have to say easily is BF2. EA needs to make a remaster legacy boxset for all the old games starting with BF1942, BFVietnam, BF2, Special Forces, and of course BF2142. They are sitting on a gold mine and they dont even know it. If they bring those games back fully patched for windows 10 and with stats permanent even I would get in there and start all over again without a care in the world.

I remember those Easter eggs you mentioned and being very excited awaiting possible news about them. That obviously waned and dissipated when it went no where. It would be awesome if they made 2143, but until then I'm happy to keep playing 2142. - https://battlefield2142.co/
