I have a GTX 960m also and it's equal to the GTX 750 Ti. I did my homework so I know.

gddr5 is standard video memory used in Nvidia GeForce 900 desktop series.

Todays RTXs use GDDR6, what in short means they work on higher frequencies = better performance.

With 900m series the gap is bigger than what its now. 750 ti desktop sounds about right for 960m. However with 1k series they’re near same as stock desktop 1k series, idk about rtx cards, could be same as with 1k cards difference.

If you paid 1200€ For laptop nowdays that has 960m you got screwed. Theres laptops for less that has 1050m, which should be faster than 960m, and 1050 ti is much better, maybe stock desktop 960 gtx

I've got the same card, and as far as I can gather from a bit of searching and experience running certain games, it's either sitting around the 750 ti like people are saying, or the GTX 660. Some games with a min requirement of the 660 barely run, but some with the 750 ti run fine. Guess it partly depends on optimisation, and the i7 6700HQ I've got probably saves me in some cases.
