In other words, some quite enjoy working on Dota, etc, plus there's still quite a large player base and they might even be playing it themselves.
why shouldn't they?
Valve isn't the only group that continue to update their games well past their release date. Egosoft, Blizzard, even Ubisoft and EA do it if needed.
it shows that these games aren't going to be abandoned and left forgotten even though they should of been. it used to be, but with games going digital, it is a lot easier to go back and update than before.
I would be SO down for that.
