We talk about overall soundtracks and credits music, but I rarely see people bring up main menu music. You know, the music that you first hear when you start the game up.

oh man alot of good ones if you ask me. re2, doom for ps1 yikes! if i had to choose one, i will choose Ghost recon Future soldiers main menu into theme. its basically a soldier standing ready for war and it was my favorite game of 2012 release. if you get the chance look at ghost recon future soldiers first video gameplay, it was the best looking war game of all time to be released without the debut trailer gameplay in the actual game haha guess i loved it so much because i was in jail for a whole year and got out to play future soldier on launch!

oh yeah, this one is simple and great. menu reacts to your last autosave location...

but honestly, most bizarre thing i can think of is beginning of x-men 2: clone wars on mega drive/genesis (i think it never was on any other platform)... instead of having any kind of intro it throws you into the action!
