Solve the cryptogram for a reward
First person to leave a reply with the solution shall recieve the spoils.

Here lies the cryptogram that must be solved:

That was cryptic.
Generic substitution cyphers especially when not cycled within the operation (a step which made the Enigma code particularly difficult) are very easy if you know the language the message is intended.
For example, in English, only certain letters can follow certain other letters, or only some letters can be doubled for instance

Therefore, most such cases can be straightforward deduced through logic and elimination::

With the exception of combined words suych as bookkeeper, (easily recogniseable by the other double letters in sequence), "KK" does not appear. Neither does WW, XX or HH outside of acronyms.

Q is almost always followed by U except when ending certain proper nouns or acronym.
E is the most commonly appearing character, J never ends a word.

Common 3 letter words such as "The" and "And" as well as common two letter words such as "If, An, By, In, Of" etc. can all be used to identify the cypher.

Finally, in this case, the punctuation is preserved. This allows for some very helpful considerations such as the word "GVA'Z"
An apostrophe with only a single letter afterwards and three letters prior would typically represent either "-'t ' as in "don't" or "won't" or explicative ownership such as "-'s"

Therefore "Z" is most likely either S or T but there's only one 2 letter word that begins with 'S' ("So") yet the text includes both "ZV" and "ZVT" as well as "CTZ"
It's possible of course ZVT might have been "Son" or "Sob" but that would mean "CTZ" would be "*no" or "*bo" which do not correspond to common known words

As such, we can consider that Z must be "T" which would suggest that "V" is far more likely to be "O" because "Te" is not commonly found in general use within sentence clauses. Further the "ZVV" also pretty much establishes "TOO" as far more likely than "TEE".

This leads to the identification of "VHH" = "OFF" (No other words follow the format "Oxx") and also that "ZKT" = "THE"

With the 'E' revealed, we unlock a huge amount of the text::

QRRoEGMAC to QJJ IAoSA JQSU of QOMQtMoA theEe MU Ao SQX Q Fee UhoNJG Fe QFJe to fJX. MZU SMACU QET too UPQJJ to Cet MtU fQt JMttJe FoGX off the CEoNAG. the Fee, of RoNEUe, HJMeU QAXSQX FeRQNUe FeeU GoA't RQEe ShQt KNPQAU thMAI MU MPDoUUMFJe.

There is a single "Q" - typically, a single letter will either be "O", "I" or "A" in order of increasing probability. We know it's not "O".
If it were "I", it would also be found often in endings such as "-ing" or "-ion" (or "-ian") so we would expect instances such as "Q*&" but instead find more often QX at the end or even the interesting "QRR" at the beginning.

"MU" is therefore NOT "if", "of", "so", "an", "in", "on", "as", "at", "to", "it", "he", "eh", "oh", "hi", "uh", "no", "er" nor "ah" (also there is double "UU" in "MPDVUUMFJT")
therefore, it might be "is" or "us" which would identify "U" as "S"

Only a few words ever begin with "I**" such as "inner", "irreducible", "iffy", "illness" etc. None of which would fit with "QRRoEGMAC" whislt not contradicting "QJJ"
So instead, we can go for more likely option that "Q" is "A"
There are only two words that match "aJJ" :: "all", "ass", "ann", "add" or "ahh" we already know that it is not "ass" nor "ahh" and can look at at "JaSs" and "sPaJJ" to realsioe it's not "ann" nor "add" - therfore we conclude "J" is "L"

The only letter that follows "fl_" in three letter word is "Y" (It's not FLO because that would result in QAXSQX = "aAoSao") which also gives us "X" = "Y"

So now our text looks like this::

aRRoEGMAC to all IAoSA laSs of aOMatMoA theEe Ms Ao Say a Fee shoNJG Fe aFle to fly. Mts SMACs aEe too sPall to Cet Mts fat lMttle FoGy off the CEoNAG. the Fee, of RoNEse, flMes aAySay FeRaNse Fees GoA't RaEe ShQt hNPaAs thMAI Ms MPDossMFle.

From here, it's pretty much plain sailing.

"aAySay" might only be "anyday" or "anyway"
"Ms" can only be "is"
When considering "Ao", we can see that "A" must be "n" so "S" must be "W"
Therefore "Gon't" is not "won't", so must be "don't" - the "G" must be "D"

"all Inown laws" pretty obviously identies "I" as being "K"
so "thMnk" is obviously "think" and therefore "M" is "I"

By this stage the message is generally clear and readable so not a great deal is required to fill in the remaining::

aRRoEdinC to all known laws of aOiation theEe is no way a Fee shoNld Fe aFle to fly. its winCs aEe too sPall to Cet its fat little Fody off the CEoNnd. the Fee, of RoNEse, flies anyway FeRaNse Fees don't RaEe what hNPans think is iPDossiFle.

We know that "Fee" cannot be "Tee", "Fee", "See", "Nee" or "Wee", it may be "Pee" or "Bee" If it was "Pee", then "Fe" would be "Pe" and "Fody" would be "Pody" - so it's far more likely and meaningful that "F" therefore is "b"

It's obvious that "theEe is no way a bee shoNld be able to fly." gives uis "E" = "r" and "N"="u"
Further, "iPDossible" is not too dificult to realise as "impossible".

aRRordinC to all known laws of aOiation there is no way a bee should be able to fly. its winCs are too small to Cet its fat little body off the Cround. the Fee, of Rourse, flies anyway beRause bees don't Rare what humans think is impossible.

Finally,
The remaining letters "R" = "C" and "C"="G" should not be difficult to discern. With "aOiation" in context really could only possibly be "aviation"

Well just typing all that out must have took considerable effort, will you take my copy of AC Origins as a reward for your struggles good sir?

so a new cryptogram is needed, right?
Ah I do not know what to do anymore. All my mental power was dedicated to finding a better way to solve this issue, but alas, no solutionh was born. Well I still have those games I listed that I do not know what to do with, so if anyone wants them, I will happily give them out. No encrypted strings attached.

I think that is inhumane. They should have the same chance as us.

Ah well since there has been no response from Commander Makara, who wrote that gigantic post about solving cryptograms, I shall grant Origins to you sir.

I still have Dandara, Minit, She Remembered Caterpillars, Steel Rats, I'm not a monster, Massive Assault Network 2 to give away, although I feel these games are sub-par compared to Origins. But I only ever played 2 of those games. I'm not a monster and Massive Assault. Both which are good in their own way, but unfortunately they are... dead. Nobody plays them.
you should try RSA encryption next time

I'll get back to you once I understand it. Although I would also need a worthy gift to give as a reward for such a task. Alas, at this moment the most valuable thing I have is a Ubisoft game.
i might still have my implementation of it from a class project
