where do i sell jewelery at red dead redemption 2

At a Fence.

There's special vendors called "Fences" whom buy that stuff and also they sell trinkets. Do a search Google/whatever for their location

You need to sell jewellery and gold bars at a fence, if you check your map you'll see where they are, I think the first available fence is at emerald ranch, there are also fences at Rhodes at the caravan park and in Saint Denis in the market, there is also a fence that is specifically for selling stolen horses depending on which type they are you'll get more from there than from stables

I wonder if you can sell stuff at Emerald Ranch before Hosea takes you on a certain house robbery. It's been four months since I played, but if I recall correctly he introduces you to the owner of the ER fence after that mission.

I can't remember if you have to do the Hosea mission first too, if that fence isn't available then the closest one would be Rhodes

Tip: Try to save the most expensive items (such as the gold bars) and wait to sell them until after you complete the story.

You should be able to afford anything you need just by selling the cheaper stuff.

When you finish the story and both epilogues you won't need to sell anything though
