I HATE Windows Cortana

Anyone else hate this *****? Constantly pestering me with little windows while Im trying to play a game.

Fix apps that are blurry for the 50th time despite apps not being blurry? Heres what happening IRL. Yes cortana is so hip she uses internet acronyms. I even get messages about how Cortana will not interrupt my gaming time with her nagging... while Im playing games.

To add insult to injury, not only does Cortana hog RAM/system resources, not only is the process unkillable and ending it with task manager will promptly restart it a second after, but you cant even turn the ****er off. Ive done extensive googling trying to find a way to murder this asinine feature, but almost every article explicitly states that forcing it to go the hell away can basically break Windows. Thanks Microsoft.

Cortana is a Microsoft assistant tool to help you understand and get around and about in windows 10 and a spy all in one. The program is intrusive and if it isn't turned off, it will in effect monitor your actions and activities under the guise of the software learning more about you to tailor the experience around what you want, but in effect it's spying on you and everything you do and all that data goes back to Microsoft.

You cant turn off all of cortana as its not just a simple index help guide. Its most intrusive features which have nothing to do with visual prompts is woven into the system in such a way that any severing of the specific connections instantly collapses the entire OS.
Its definitely not on but MS get away with it legally.

Many businesses wouldn't migrate to Windows 10 if this was not possible.

using an enterprise version probably has different features and how it's setup compared to the usual home and professional versions.

Boi, you clearly haven't dealt with Windows Update in Windows 10. Not with data cap at least.

I don't think I have her turned off, but she never bothers me. If you go to the notification settings, there's a setting to turn her notifications off. Might try that.
