A hammer that costs $30 in this game? Give me a break, Activi$ion.
Its not but its already going to have editions, dlc/seasonpass/micros/whatever, and its already steeped in controversy for clothing up the female models and keeping the males nearly naked.

People get "mains" and if next game, you make their main behind a paywall, well they've put in hundreds of hours mastering that main, they'll just buy them. They're so attached to the character.
And if the game takes like 200 hours to master all of a character's combos...Well all the more reason too.
-PayDay2
-any epic exclusive (self explanitory basically killed off their playerbase on PC)
-star wars battlefront (dammit EA)
-almost any EA or Activision title after 2009
-H1Z1 !!!! OR whatever they decided to call them both after the split. God they fell for the battle royal meme hard and so much b.s. i actually wanna seperate it as much as possible so people can focus on this one
-dead by daylight (not fixing anything just adding new character dlcs gtfo)
-walletZ (war Z). though TBH this game was always terrible b/c of the devs since they started banning people and removing the game from people's library
-Nether passed around alot and the major downfall was focusing more on milking the game than actually fixing the game. It was an early access game so nothing new. that being said....
-any early access survival game
-DayZ (coming out of early access only to be able to charge more)
-Dead Frontier 1 & 2 (nothing new here)
-same dev of DF1 & 2 like the doom warrior game
-NEOPETS (♥♥♥♥♥ scientologists and john travolta)
-CoD franchise (jesus christ they went downhill really fast especially with WW2)
-battlefield franchise (same as CoD)
-FIFA 2017
-NBA 2017 but in general...
-Any sports game ever made after 2010 (DLC for team's in-game basically p2w)
-any mobile game ever made (self explanitory)
-any nutaku game ever put there (cept probably harem heroes)
-skyrim and any bersthda game after fallout New Vegas
-diablo (DON'T YOU GUYS HAVE PHONES) immortal
-literally any game after 2012 is pretty much a candidate for it.
-fortnite (nothing new there)
-overwatch (PR stunts aside, they pretty much fleshed out the game and made it super boring).
-most blizzard games after 2010
-monopoly
-TF2 (no major game changing update just cosmetics now)
-CS:GO
-valve in general (why you ask? well just look at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ artifact and DOTA 2 and tell me otherwise).
-granblue fantasy
-fate GO
-any game with a gacha in it or any gacha game in general
ITT: you either die a hero or live long enough to get mliked like a dead horse. The games are a business after all and sometimes the business side takes over and the game becomes another brick in the console.
Tbh it's both a good and bad thing. Bad b/c they destroy games but good b/c overall it makes the market better if games or franchises fail/fall hard. Acting all high and mighty like your game is top ♥♥♥♥, but then the next year a new engine or gimmick comes up and suddenly your game is old news.
