If I dislike music in general I obviously wouldn't listen to it again. In movies, I'll live with the supposed cringe. In video games, most are soundtrack-based and not songs. They all should fit the atmosphere, so I rarely pay attention much to the background music in video games.

If you liked the song before it was added to the media. Or else you will only remember the things you dislike while listening to the song. Linking park in every Michael bay movie. If you like the movies you eventually like the songs. There's no way around. You can't dislike some parts of a movie and still think the movie was great. A movie can be good and shouldn't be confused with a great movie. Generalized opinion about things make you like everything that is connected to the media. You really don't have much choice than to like the song because it's a part of the movie. You can listen to the song and remember the media. Would you listen to the song if it wasn't in the movie, not likely. You had no knowledge about its existence or knew you had the need to listen to the song.
