[SOLVED]Need advice which pc controller to buy
hi guys, currently I am looking a gaming controller to buy. Feel free to write down in the comment for any suggestions. "My maximum budget is below $60."

Personally, these two controllers got my attentions.
1. Logitech f310
2. Msi force GC20 wired gaming controller.

both are around $20-$25

and what am I looking for are:
1. Plug and Play, doesn't required to download any file/software to use the controller
2. Can look/rotate around.
3. Enough buttons to let me use.

*** note ***
I know it is quite weird that I ask for these requirements. but I'll explain why:

So last time, I bought a ps2(usb version) joystick for my pc. And what happen was first, it required me to download a file and put in to the game folder, need to do some settings.

After that, when I hop in to the games such like gta v / Sleeping dogs, the default buttons binding are not normal at all. For example: Normally when we want to accelerate when driving a car, we will need to hold X, instead my situation is R2. Some games like Sleeping Dogs which can't bind the buttons for the controller are really making me hard to play the games. Also, I can't look around, just can only like move forward and the camera automatically move itself.

That's why i suspect that a normal usb joystick can't be use for nowadays game.

Thanks in advanced, I know that this article is quite long. sorry bout that

PS2 joystick was intended for PS2 I assume?

Well modern joysticks for computers instead for consoles work without problems, you have to just sometimes bind keys.

MSI is definitely a good choice. They have experience in gaming, so it's a good choice as well to choose.

ya, I think it just can play with ps2 games without an issue.

and Thanks, one of my friend is using a msi controller but a wireless one. just wanna to make sure the situation won't happen again. haha

If you do, just make sure that it's a Windows compatible version with USB, and not the standard console one.

it is possible for you to provide me a link of your current controller?

OP the 360 controllers you should avoid are Rock Candy, Afterglow, and Mad Catz.

If you want to get a good one go with an official Microsoft, or @Play brand controller.

Yep, the one in that link will work with a Windows PC. It may come with an installation DVD, but that isn't necessary. Just plug and play.
