Should Pokemon be Ported to PC?

So recently I was playing pokemon on my GameBoy (yes the brick one) and I have played almost every incarnation of the games since they came out when i was a kid. There have been Pokemon games that were released with the tcg line such as the Pokemon tcg pc trainer game that taught the player how to play the card game, it was released with the 1st edition machamp deck. but sadly the Pokemon Franchise hasnt yet made a true PC port or a PC only game.

So my question would you like to finally see a PC only copy of Pokemon from Nintendo or The Pokemon Company?

My answer is YES absolutely yes!!!

i think most exclusives should be on the pc , simply because the concept of exclusives is outdated , we no longer are in times where its nintendo with mario and zelda vs sega with sonic vs sony with jak & Daxter


and the games are a reason to get the system because everyone had their own special series

back then most also had similar series , both mario and sonic were platformers for example (same with jak and daxter according to google)

then over time consoles started having more exclusives and it got to the point where they started using exclusive franchises to bait people to get new systems , botw was the bait for the wii u and then it was delayed all the way until the switch



but back on topic , i really think all games should be playable for all gamers , you shouldnt be forced to get an entire system to play one game , the way big AAA studios like ubisoft do it is the best , just give every game to every platform

yes , of course I'd certainly be more interesting to pokemon if it was possible to have proper PC versions of those games.

Pokemon is too simple to be made into a PC exclusive other than having better graphics than there console ports. I would still like if Nintendo ported over there ♥♥♥♥ to PC. Thank god for emulation.

They released Pokemon games on the NDS though which was easy enough to do...
Also, people already play Pokemon on PC, Nintendo may get a few dollars for it if they made an official release.

I used to have a PC Pokemon type of game that used large breasted beast girls in place of Pokemon. It was entertaining for a little while.

I dunno, I kind of like it sticking to the mobile genre of things. Because down to the core it's perfect for playing while on the move, be it out in public, waiting or during a long ride.

The last time I played my 3DS was probably when I went to spend a day in Charlotte NC.

But there have been plenty of games similar to Pokemon that have released on PC, before they were taken down. Nintendo is a bit like Disney when it comes to copyrighting and threatening to sue due to likeness.

But it would be nice to see a Pokemon game or a game somewhat like Pokemon built for machines that can process more than a handheld console could.

I think Nintendo could release a similar product to Segas Genesis and Megadrive classics. People would be more than willing to buy games for $2 - $5 each, maybe even $10, add support for ROM hacks and Nintendos problem with emulation could turn into positive for them and customers.
