I like the shows on 4kids while I was growing up like teenage mutant ninja turtles and Kirby so anything that is not overly sexual like those would be good

Joe Joe's Bizarre Adventure is a good Japanese anime.

I'm pretty sure "hi score girl" is about me as a kid. If you want to watch a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ make the same mistakes that I made in the early 90's then that's a good one.

Depends on what you'd like to see.

For action-adventure I'd say Black Lagoon (dub version *cough cough*), Cowboy Bebop, Jormungand, Made in Abyss, Samurai Champloo and Trigun to name a few. Some of them might be "too much", like Jormungand.

I'd say look it up on myanimelist if you look for a different genre.

if you want a simple starting anime , pretty much most shounen anime will do , naruto is really good ( make sure you watch the uncensored version )
