Because I can and if I wish install old Sierra Adventures from 1989 and play them in the year 2019 without being like: "♥♥♥♥! WHERE TO GET THE OLD SYSTEM TO PLAY THE GAME?!"

Because my favorate genres (Strategy and Management) are extremely rare on consoles and are usually nowhere near as good when they do make it over to them.

that's the way of live what makes the poor man even more poor.
they buy cheap console but must spend a fortune on games which makes it in the end twice expensive.

like borring money cost money.

I don’t like to limit myself and pay online.

With a PC I can professionally edit videos, surf online, play flash games, play hardcore games, watch movies online, chat with friends online (Skype and Discord), and watch NSFW stuff.

Edit: The title sounds like you’re against PC gaming. Lol.

I have a PC anyway as consoles are highly restricted on what you can do on them. Typing, while in theory possible, sucks. Programming & visual design not possible at all. Video cutting as well. To get ANYTHING done which is not watching YT/NF, a PC is a must. And since I have one anyway, gaming on it is logical. Next, convenience. I can play all games, from 90s classics to modern games on one machine, consoles would require me to get a TV with 6 or so inputs and let's not even talk of the pain to attach an old console to a modern TV. Flexibility & modding help greatly as well.

I own a Switch though, PCs don't work for gaming on the go.

Because of much better backwards compatibility and the fact that it is much harder for publishers to force scams and unfair deals on the user (if the console manufacturer decides to scam you the whole console becomes a giant scam - look at Nintendo online subscription for the Switch; if a game publisher on PC instead decides to scam you with its games you just need to avoid its games and buy something else from a different publisher)

I don’t.

Few different reasons, The best one is that I can easily add more storage to a desktop pc. (I have 9tb of storage space btw)

I guess PC is just more practical for me.

It had a lot of fun games on it. Also I make video on it to with the editing and so on.

I do miss a lot of the older games that are offline now though.
