He's good, but most of his published music relies on the same structures, similar melodies and chords and progressions, and so on. Without lyrics or vocals sometimes it's sometimes hard to work out which song you're actually listening to. That, however, is kind of his thing. He takes all those little hooks and embellishments and leitmotifs common to certain kinds of music, and repackages them into a more surreal and entertaining (and authentic) form.

He's like one long set of jingles, and that's okay.

But it's not godhood. Whatever that is.
